That cloth is stained, and I didn’t care to clean the door jam. The dust is from previously living 1 mile out this:

(Keen viewers will notice, A.) An abandoned bus, B.) Lots of dirt that will inevitable cake onto the interior)

This brings back memories of my C4. Every C4 corvette door panel will fatigue and crack in the same way . I don’t suppose there is are aftermarket exact OEM replicas being made for the SC, though.

Almost n othing is being reman ufactured, hell up until earlier this year the only oe style lcas you could buy were OEM at $800 a pair. ( N ow one brand makes them for a mere $300) of course you can get generic things like fuel filters or an $800 egr valve but not panels, fender, bumpers, OEM lips are unobtainuim.(sidenote I paid over $300 for OEM sideskirts)

How’d they get the car so r ight but the doors so wrong?

Mine had doors held on with like 10 different screw types and couple brackets made from a license plate.

Im about to go Frankenstein on this door and some self tapping screws.

Theres not even an excuse, Camry’s and corollas have been rolling around with no door panel issues (and basically every other cheap car ever built)
